GIS Final project

This map was created using data from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Shown here are the conservation efforts in the state of Florida. The first layer used was of biodiversity hot-spots. It was developed by aggregating the predictive habitat maps for wading birds, important natural communities, and 44 focal species. The second layer used contains proposed lands for conservation management that are necessary to protect viable populations of the 44 focal wildlife species, rare plants, rare biological communities, and wetlands important for wading birds. This data is intended to aid conservation and planning efforts in Florida.
To improve my map I would use brighter colors to make the most diverse areas stand out, and find a way to display/highlight the conservation lands and strategic habitats on top of that data( using the union function).
